Can A Seller's Agent Help Me Buy?
Without a buyer's agent, you're legally on your own. The seller's agent is, in fact, working for the seller and is the seller's legal representative. This is also true of a sales person at a builders model - they represent the Builder - NOT YOU.
Who Pays the Buyer's Agent Fee?
I do NOT charge a fee to my buying clients for my services as an Accredited Buyer
Representative. My fee is paid from the seller’s commission - you receive the benefits of my service and it doesn’t cost you as the Buyer. What a deal!
GRI (Graduate Realtors Institute):
Graduate Realtors Institute (GRI) is a designation earned by completing a national program of specialized, advanced education for the licensed Realtor. It involves intense study, covering many special aspects of real estate such as residential marketing, cost basis, appreciation methods, investment real estate, construction, exchanges, capital gains, and various types of mortgage programs.
The GRI Designation is a continuing process which is your assurance that the agent is always up to date on the latest information concerning all aspects of the real estate market.
